$3000 Donation to Dana Hills High School Art Dept.
Last year, DPFAA made a commitment to focus singularly on Dana Hills High School’s Arts Department for our annual charitable gift to encourage young artists. The donation this year was $3,000. We have been advised by the Arts Department that the money will be used to purchase a permanent display case for student art in the school’s main foyer. The case will include a plaque in recognition of DPFAA’s 2007 donation.

New Source for Giclee Prints

, DPFAA member, is offering to print your gicleé’s on Summerset Velvet fine art paper for $0.10 a square inch. Leo is printing on the new Epson Pro7800, 24-inch wide format printer using Epson Ultra Chrome Ks inks. Leo’s printer has been calibrated to ArtScans Studio’s flatbed scanner that scans the images at 360 dpi, increases the resolution to 1440 dpi, and uarantees exact color matching. Therefore, in order to guarantee the highest quality, Leo recommends that your original artwork be scanned by ArtScan Studios.
